1. Posted: Oct 24, 2018. Options. The sound on my Smart LG TV stopped working for some unknown reason. Nothing different was done to the tv prior to going to bed. I found a reset button in the menu in the sound section, by resetting the sound it seemed to work. Sound is back with no issues so far.
